Students applying for the Nebraska Seed Trade Association Freshman Scholarship must be a new student enrolling at the University of Nebraska. They must possess a strong interest in the area of seed industry, crop production, seed technology, or plant breeding and major in a degree program offered by the Department of Agronomy and Horticulture, College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources, University of Nebraska.

Please submit a one page essay of your future goals for education and career endeavors. Please describe your background and why you are the best choice to receive this scholarship. Please attach a copy of your transcripts and your class rank.
